PORTER MCLEAN IFI DIVISION III MANAGER MIKE MOWINS IFI DIVISION II MANAGER Porter McLean has more than 40 years of fastener industry expertise and has served in various industry roles, most recently with ATF, Inc. during which time he held several positions within the IFI, including Chairman in 2006-07. He also served for 5 years as the Managing Director of the Global Fastener Alliance (GFA). McLean takes over Division III from John O’Brien, who aptly served as the Division III Manager for over a decade. Mike Mowins has been an active participant in IFI for over 25 years, having served on the IFI Board and as Chair of the Associate Supplier Division in the past. He recently retired from The Phillips Screw Company after 31 years, and brings with him decades of aerospace fastener knowledge that will greatly benefit IFI Division II members. Mowins takes the reins as Division II Manager from Patrick Meade, who faithfully served the division for over 10 years in that role. “We are very fortunate to have been associated with both John O’Brien and Pat Meade”, says Dan Walker, IFI’s Managing Director. “Both John and Pat served the industry so well, and their contributions have helped grow the IFI membership and keep the focus on the most important matters for their respective divisions. Their efforts will continue to benefit the IFI for years to come.” He added, “The addition of both Porter McLean and Mike Mowins represents yet another windfall for IFI, as they will have new ideas and bring their individual talents to their divisions for the benefit of the membership.
