NFDA’s popular Executive Sales Planning Sessions® will take place June 23-25, 2020, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown. During the Executive Sales Planning Sessions (ESPS®), you’ll schedule private, one-on-one business meetings with the partners who are most important to your business strategy. It’s not as rushed as speeddating, but the principles are similar, allowing you to meet with several people in 1.5 days, without having to travel to multiple destinations. How ESPS ® Works ¤ NFDA Associate and Service Provider members book rooms at the Embassy Suites in order to host private appointments. Only NFDA members are eligible to be ESPS® hosts. ¤ Registered meeting attendees book appointments in advance with the hosts of their choice by using our new online scheduling tool. ¤ The schedule can accommodate up to thirteen 25-minute appointments on Wednesday, June 24 and five 25-minute appointments on Thursday, June 25. ¤ Designed to facilitate executive-level interchange between trading partners, ESPS® gives you the greatest amount of visibility and provides scheduling flexibility with the most companies in a single location. Education The NFDA 2020 Annual Meeting also will feature compelling education programs. ASSOCIATION ARTICLE ¤ Alan Beaulieu from ITR Economics will offer an economic update. ¤ Seth Waugh, associate vice president for government relations for the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors will inform us about the latest developments in Washington. ¤ Jeboah Miranda will present a special program on “Developing Mental Toughness in the Workplace,” offering strategies for managing stress and anxiety. This program is supported by the Young Fastener Professionals. Young Fastener Professionals: Discounts and Special Programs NFDA is proud to partner with YFP to offer special educational and social programs at the 2020 Annual Meeting. In addition to Jeboah Miranda’s program on Mental Toughness, YFP will present an Edu-Social Hour. Come have a drink, relax, meet fellow young fastener professionals and other industry leaders, and learn about topics related to the fastener industry presented by some premier young professionals in the field. These presentations will only last about ten minutes with ten-minute breaks in between for guests to grab a drink, network with other professionals or talk with the presenters.
