This was to thank customers, sales reps and direct employees for contributing to the company’s record-breaking sales performance in 2021. The event featured an 18-hole contest, opening reception the first night, and then dinner with awards after golf while also covering the cost of lodging for two nights at this premium destination. The theme for the gathering was “BEYOND the Office” and exemplified the management style of creating a complete and well-rounded approach to business and interpersonal relationships. Dee Ward, Brikksen’s Executive Vice President wanted to integrate this business philosophy not only with their employees and sales reps, but to include the customers as an extension of their commitment. The idea being that goodwill does not just exist during working hours, but carries over into other facets of daily life. Personal and professional well-being…. a work/life balance is a 24-7 proposition., they feel. Happy employees, sales professionals, and customers tend to interact on a better level when all the elements of personal and work responsibilities are in balance. Fast forward to today and Brikksen has a complete line of metric and imperial stainless steel fasteners as well as brass, silicon bronze, aluminum, chrome plated stainless, and maintains inventory on many C & D items including stainless steel hose clamps. Brikksen’s growth has resulted from constantly listening to the customer and in a business that is easily commoditized, they stress customer service everyday and in every transaction! Brikksen has launched an aggressive marketing campaign to create better company awareness and plans to continue expanding the theme of “BEYOND” to other aspects of their daily interaction with customers, suppliers, employees and sales reps.
